Starting professional fee
Wedding planning services start from ₹6.5 lakh plus applicable taxes. This is a starting professional planning fee, not an estimate of the wedding’s complete décor, production or vendor expenditure.
How quotations are prepared
Final pricing depends on the destination, number of functions, guest count, planning scope, design complexity, production requirements, logistics, timelines and selected services. We prepare a written proposal after understanding the client’s requirements.
Depending on the engagement, a quotation may separately identify planning and design fees, décor production, florals, structures, rentals, technical production, entertainment, hospitality staff, travel, accommodation, local transport, third-party vendor expenses and applicable taxes.
Proposal and scope
The accepted proposal is the controlling commercial document for each engagement. It identifies the services, deliverables, inclusions, exclusions, event dates, venue, taxes and payment milestones applicable to that wedding. An enquiry, introductory conversation or preliminary estimate does not reserve a date.
Standard payment schedule
- 50% of the total contracted amount as a non-refundable booking fee.
- A further 30% at least three weeks before the first event.
- 15% before the principal evening ceremony.
- The final 5% before the principal wedding ceremony or completion of services, whichever occurs earlier.
A client’s signed proposal may specify dates or milestones appropriate to that wedding. Where it does, the signed proposal will apply.
International cards and charges
Payments from overseas clients may be accepted, subject to payment-provider approval. Payment-gateway charges, correspondent-bank charges, foreign-exchange conversion charges and charges imposed by the client’s bank or card issuer are borne by the client. The amount received by Awegust Affairs must equal the invoiced amount together with applicable taxes.
